SAFEHASH CUSTOMER TERMS Version: 2026-09-23.1 1. Publisher and contact SafeHash is distributed through Codelliptica. Publisher information and contact details are maintained on the website below. What you purchase Your order purchases the official SafeHash Windows distribution for the selected edition, its offline entitlement and associated support. The paid editions are Pro (1 seat), Team (10 seats) and Enterprise (25 seats). SafeHash Free is offered at no charge. Each paid download contains an installer that installs the edition's license file automatically; no key or online activation is used. The price displayed at checkout, applicable taxes and your order confirmation govern the purchase. Payment and delivery through Gumroad are also subject to Gumroad's applicable buyer terms. The app does not require online activation. 3. Seats and permitted use A seat covers use of the official licensed distribution on one primary Windows computer. You may move it to a replacement computer after removing the old installation. Install a paid edition only on as many computers as its seat count allows. Seats are not enforced technically; they rely on your good faith. Do not publish, share or resell the paid installer or its license file. All editions may be used for lawful personal or business work. Edition features, seat count and any explicitly disclosed trial expiry are stated in your order. Paid launch licenses are one-time purchases without recurring subscription fees. The purchased version may continue to be used indefinitely on compatible systems. 4. Open-source components and existing rights SafeHash source code released under the MIT License remains governed by that license. These customer terms do not remove rights already granted under MIT or the licenses of included third-party components, including rights to use, modify or redistribute those components where their licenses permit. The commercial purchase covers the official distribution, entitlement, delivery and support; it does not convert MIT-licensed code into exclusively proprietary code. See the included LICENSE and THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.md for the applicable notices. 5. Installation and offline operation The installer and executables are not Authenticode-signed. Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning, and managed security policies or Smart App Control may block installation or execution. Check compatibility using SafeHash Free before purchase. SafeHash does not require disabling security software. Administrator rights are required for installation and for configuring or controlling the background service. Customer documents and license verification remain local during normal app operation. The app connects to the internet only when you choose Check for updates, and then only downloads a public version file. Purchases and support use external services separately from the offline app. 6. What results mean Hashes describe bytes that were read. They do not by themselves establish who created a file, prove that it is harmless, or provide a backup or malware scan. Monitoring compares files with a baseline you explicitly accept; choose trusted baseline data. Interrupted, unavailable or incomplete checks must be resolved before relying on the result. Hardware signatures need compatible equipment and an independently trusted certificate fingerprint to establish signer identity. Local audit records, operator-entered case details and evidence ZIPs do not by themselves prove complete legal custody, provide an independent timestamp, or guarantee acceptance by a court, regulator or other recipient. Administrator control of the complete computer remains outside the local trust boundary. 7. Maintenance and support Contact support@codelliptica.com with the product version and a description of the problem. Do not send private files, license signing keys or token PINs. No guaranteed response time, continuous monitoring service, consulting service, custom development or service-level agreement is included, including Enterprise. Maintenance focuses on important defects and security fixes. New features and future major versions are not promised or included unless expressly stated in your order. Offline installations require you to obtain and install maintenance releases manually. Compatibility can change with Windows, hardware and bundled runtime changes; perpetual use does not mean perpetual compatibility or support. 8. Refunds and statutory remedies Contact support or use the Gumroad order process within 14 days of purchase to request a refund. If an important advertised function does not work, explain the failure so we can help. This voluntary policy does not limit mandatory rights for defective, misdescribed or undelivered software, or other remedies available under the consumer law applicable to you. Any digital-content withdrawal consent that is legally required must be handled explicitly at checkout; these terms do not assume that downloading automatically waives such rights. 9. Warranty and responsibility Use sensible backups and verify critical results independently. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the software is supplied as available without a promise that it will be error-free or suitable for every particular purpose. Nothing excludes warranties, liabilities or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable mandatory consumer protections. Subject to those protections, the seller is not responsible for indirect loss or lost profits and aggregate liability for the paid product is limited to the amount you paid for it. This limitation does not apply where the law prohibits it, including fraud or other conduct for which liability cannot be limited. 10. Changes and disputes Keep the terms supplied with your purchased version. Later revisions do not retroactively remove rights already granted. Contact support first if there is a problem. Mandatory consumer protections and available local remedies remain applicable regardless of the seller's location. No mandatory arbitration or exclusive foreign court requirement is imposed by these terms. Acceptance By accepting these terms during installation, you acknowledge the product scope, offline operation, unsigned-installer status and support terms above. Third-party and open-source licenses remain independently applicable.
