The installed SafeHash app is designed to perform hashing, license validation,
monitoring, reporting and evidence export locally. It does not need a SafeHash
account, cloud activation, telemetry collector or automatic update service.
When you click Check for updates, the app downloads a small public version file
from codelliptica.com. That request contains no license, file or usage data;
like any web request it reveals your IP address and app version to the website.
Local data includes the edition license installed with a paid edition, any
license you import yourself (which may identify you),
selected file paths, monitoring configuration and baselines, alerts, audit events
and exports you create. Evidence exports include the target files and attachments
you select. Reports and exported audit data can contain identifying file paths or
operator information. Review an export before sharing it. Protect your Windows
account, its storage and any removable media used to transfer these files.
Installation also saves the accepted terms text and a local receipt containing
its hash, product version, edition and acceptance time. These records require
administrator access and are not sent to Codelliptica or Gumroad.
SafeHash's Windows service communicates with local clients on the loopback
interface. Service configuration, its local authentication secret, monitoring
state and audit data are restricted to Windows administrators and SYSTEM.
Windows, your security software and other installed applications may have their
own network behavior, logging and privacy settings outside SafeHash's control.
Purchasing on Gumroad is separate from using the offline app. Gumroad processes
checkout, payment, receipts and applicable order information under its privacy
policy: https://gumroad.com/privacy . Codelliptica uses order information needed
to handle support, refunds and business records. The installed
app does not contact Gumroad to validate your license.
If you email support, we receive your address and whatever information you send.
Send only what is necessary; remove confidential paths and other personal data
from diagnostic excerpts. Do not send token PINs, passwords, private signing
keys or customer evidence files unless an appropriate arrangement is made first.
Local files remain until you delete them. Uninstallation preserves customer
licenses, monitoring state and audit records so they are not lost accidentally;
the user guide explains their locations and removal. Support correspondence and
order records are retained only for support, business and applicable legal
requirements. Contact support@codelliptica.com about access, correction, deletion
or other privacy requests; applicable legal rights and recordkeeping obligations
